i have tried to burn the iso to dvd many times, and i have been unsuccessful, i have used 4 different programs and ruined 8 dvds, anyone who has burnt the iso successfully, please provide me with the program and settings you used, also is it possible the isos are corrupted? what size on disk does your iso say? -- I stalk computer info, and i breathe electrons, yes i am a geek

Burning the ISO Image in NERO and Roxio Easy CD Creator: NERO Insert a Blank DVD, open Nero StartSmart > change the media type to DVD > select Copy and Backup > click "Burn Image to Disc" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored on your hard disk, (note: if you don't see it, make sure the image file type is changed to ISO" click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Roxio Open Creator Classic > click File > "Record Disc from Image" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored >click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Ensure that the ISO burns at a low speed, recommended speed, 2x for best results. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Hello
You cannot burn ISO files to DVD using a CD-RW burner. Do you have a DVD burner installed in your computer? Apart from that what programs were you trying to convert ISO files to DVD?

Have you verified the checksum of the downloaded .iso?

I have the same problem and I found out that the file I downloaded is only 2,1 GB instead of 3,5GB. Now I´m downloading again using their download manager and I hope it ´ll be ok.

Yep, got the same prob as you also, and used several programs too. (I've burned alot of dvd's in my time, so not a noob in general also) Thought it may just be my box and I find out tonight my father has same problem on a different system. Deleted it before I could check the checksum. Gonna retry another d/l and try again. It appears some folks have had same prob and all I gathered was nero 6.6 oem worked from one guys experience. Curious to see other people's experience..

Well, pretty much gonna give up on trying to burn the iso to dvd, as stated before all the various programs I have tried and blanks I have consumed. I've been able to mount it using alcohol and install that way, but bummed on not having the dvd. It turns out the error I was getting mostly was "power calibration area error" when trying to write the iso to dvd. I did some research on my drive (matshita uj840d) only to find out the drive pretty much bites in an HP laptop (ZD8000) :(

Nero express worked for me but only on second download of vista image. The first one must be corrupted
use the "Disk Image or saved Project" option after choosing the DVD from the first topmost drop down list.
If ever give you any hassle on the iso image file, chances are, the iso image is corrupted

I used deepburner to burn the iso image to disk... worked fine first time round and I'm sure it would work on nero and the other cd/dvd burning software I have
